Day Eight- Permission to Play

Responsibilities. Obligations. Duties. Tasks. Assignments. Work. We spend the majority of our days as adults taking care of all of these things. To be honest, our kids do, too. All too often we are overscheduled, overstressed, and overtired.

So what is the antidote?

Play.

Good old-fashioned play. Particularly unstructured play where we use our imagination. It is organic, holistic, and just plain good for you!

One of the greatest minds of our time put it this way:

When we play, we learn about how the world works. We make connections. We find solutions. We discover who we really are. We discover who God really is.

Stop making excuses. Give yourself permission to play.
